สมาคมวิทยาการและวิศวกรรมเชิงคอมพิวเตอร์ ขอแสดงความเสียใจและอาลัยยิ่งต่อการจากไปของ ผศ.ดร.ภุชงค์ อุทโยภาศ

อดีตประธานสมาคมวิทยาการและวิศวกรรมเชิงคอมพิวเตอร์ ซึ่งดำรงตำแหน่งระหว่าง 2012-2016

ผศ.ดร.ภุชงค์ อุทโยภาศ ได้ถึงแก่กรรม เมื่อวันที่ 29 ธันวาคม 2564 และในวันที่ 30 ธันวาคม 2564 ได้มีพิธีพระราชทานน้ำหลวงอาบศพ ณ ศาลา 5 วัดโสมนัสราชวรวิหาร เวลา 16.30 น. และ สวดพระอภิธรรม เวลา 18.00 น. และวันที่ 4 มกราคม ถึงวันที่ 9 มกราคม 2565 สวดพระอภิธรรม เวลา 18.00 น. โดยวันที่ 8 มกราคม 2565 คณะกรรมการบริหารสมาคมวิทยาการและวิศวกรรมเชิงคอมพิวเตอร์ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพพิธีสวดอภิธรรรม เวลา 18.00 น.

ผศ.ดร.ภุชงค์ อุทโยภาศ เป็นบุคลากรสำคัญในวงการเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ของประเทศไทย เป็นผู้บุกเบิกและริเริ่มในการพัฒนาด้าน High Performance Computing (HPC), Grid Computing, และ Cloud Computing ของประเทศไทย อย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมไปถึงการพัฒนาเครือข่ายความร่วมมือและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านวิทยาการคำนวณในประเทศไทยและทวีปเอเชีย

ผศ.ดร.ภุชงค์ อุทโยภาศ เป็นคนไทยคนแรกที่ได้รับรางวัลเชิดชูเกียรติ ASIA HPC Leadership Awards 2021 ซึ่งเป็นรางวัลที่มอบแก่นักวิจัยที่เป็นผู้นำของวงการที่มีผลงานดีเด่นด้านการคำนวณสมรรถนะสูง (High Performance Computing) หรือเทคโนโลยีซุปเปอร์คอมพิวเตอร์เป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับเอเชีย ที่ผ่านการพิจารณาจากคณะกรรมการระดับนานาชาติ ซึ่งได้ประกาศ ในงานประชุมวิชาการ Supercomputing Asia ประเทศสิงคโปร์ เมื่อวันที่ 2 มีนาคม 2564 ที่ผ่านมา

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Computational Science and Engineering Association (or in short CSEA), I am honored and delighted to welcome all of you to ANSCSE24 conference. It is a great honor for CSEA to be a co-host of ANSCSE24 together with Department of Chemistry, Faculty of liberal art and science, Kasetsart University, Kamphaengsaen Campus this year. Over twenty years, ANSCSE has a long history of gathering researchers who are in the field of computational science and engineering to cross-fertilize ideas and to strengthen both local and international networks. Due to the covid19 pandemic, we could not hold the conference last year and we postponed it to this year. This is the first time we will make the ANSCSE conference online. The theme of this year is “Confronting the global challenges” Under this theme, ANSCSE24 covers various disciplines of computational science and engineering including fields of Chemistry,
Physics, Biology, Fluid Dynamics, Solid Mechanics, High Performance Computing, Cloud Computing and Computer Science and Engineering. This symposium aims to provide an exciting venue for scientists to present and exchange
ideas, as well as to renew existing collaborations and to develop new ones. ANSCSE24 also offers a great opportunity for academic and industrial researchers to meet up and exchange ideas and information. As the chair of CSEA, I would like to express my appreciation to all the committee chairs, the program chairs, the scientific committee, the reviewers, our sponsors, and especially the conference chair, Assistant Professor Bundet Boekfa. Last but not least; we should especially thank the local organizing committee teams. They have worked extremely hard in planning and organizing the technical programs and supporting the social arrangements. Finally, ANSCSE24 truly serves as a venue for networking and knowledge sharing through comprehensive presentations as well as high-level plenary and panel sessions. We hope that everyone will gain new knowledge and think up of informative ideas for solving the global
challenges ahead of us.

Due to the COVID19 situation, ANSCSE24 will be held online, on 28-30 April, 2021. Abstract submission deadline (final extended) : Mar 31, 2021

We are glad to invite you to attend the 24th International Annual Symposium on Computational Science and Engineering (ANSCSE24). The ANSCSE24 is organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science, Kasetsart University (Kamphaeng Saen Campus), Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.

ANSCSE24 is a joint effort of Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus and Computational Science and Engineering Association (CSEA) Thailand. The conference serves as an international forum for researchers in the field of computational science and engineering, to exchange their experience, stimulate ideas, and strengthening their research collaborations. Postgraduates and undergraduates are also welcome to participate. The theme of ANSCSE 24 is “Confronting the Global Challenges”.  We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation for consideration at the ANSCSE 24 online-conference. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS : FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2021
